Welcome! I am a running coach in the Detroit area. I love working with runners of all skill levels and ages. I have helped runners finish their first races, improve their speed, and learn the techniques of running. I also create custom training programs and injury prevention programs. You can check out my coaching profile here http://www.coachup.com/coaches/stefanieh You can also follow me on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/thedynamicrunner

I created this website to spread my knowledge  (and love) of all things running including running tips, race reviews, recipes, training programs, and running specific exercises. My hope is that you can find something here to help you become a better runner.

I have been involved in the running community most of my life. I have been on all sides of the spectrum including an athlete, a quick response medial professional, a rehabilitation specialist, a coach, and even a spectater. I continue to run and continue to learn about the science behind running. My main areas of interest would be injury prevention and sports performance enhancement, to me, the two go hand in hand.

I graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Sports Medicine and worked the last two years as an athletic trainer. I am currently in my first year of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Macomb Community College. I am a certified running coach through USA Track and Field. I also hold a personal training certification and corrective exercise specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you return soon!
